Our unique product is created solely from big leaf maples, which are indigenous to the Pacific Northwest. The sap from the big leaf maple trees has approximately 1% sugar content while sap from tradition sugar maples trees in the Northeast, Midwest along with Central Canada and the Atlantic Provinces contains 2% – 3% sugar content. It takes 115 gallons of big leaf maple sap to make one gallon of maple syrup whereas it takes 43 gallons of sap from sugar maples to make one gallon of maple syrup.
